In this lesson we learned about basics of English, how to be good teacher, what are characteristics of good learner etc. Different types of roles every teacher have to accept. Language levels we will have to work with and how to face challenges with those different levels. Characteristics of different learners may be age, experience, motivation etc.This unit taught me the importance of the different roles a teacher can take in a classroom. It explained the different levels of learning students can be at and what their weaknesses and goals should be at those levels. I learned the qualities of a good learner as well as a good teacher, and the motivations students might have for learning English.
