Teaching conditionals of all types as well as reported speech can be reaky tricky. Most students face different problems while trying to understand these grammatical topics. But actually these are not as difficult as they may seem from the first glance, because they all fall under certain schemes and formulas, which should be memorized and practiced.For this unit, I learned the more complex verbs and clauses, such as modal auxiliary verbs, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. It was particularly difficult but a good review on distinguishing the different types of phrasal verbs. This allows me to keep in perspective of beginning EFL learners that may also have trouble learning this particular topic.
