I learned about the proper usage of past tenses. I learned the difference between past simple and past perfect, and past continuous and past perfect continuous. In my own experience many people that English is not their first language make these mistakes. My wife is from China and my knowledge is helping me to teach her to speak better as well!No matter to the teachers or the learners the tense system is really not easy to have a clear mind about that. During the lesson, the teachers can give out different examples and show different situations to help the learners to have a better understanding about the concept. For teachers themselves, keep learning is always important and necessary.
