This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
Unit 1 provided me with an outline for understanding the goals of the course. As a volunteer tutor, it also provided me with insights on how to improve my teaching methods. Additionally, it offered important distinctions that need to be considered when teaching students within different age groups, and with varying motivations for learning English. In Unit 8, I learned the usages for each type of tense. These types of tenses can be very complicated and is would be a good idea to really stress the future tense when I do teach it. I have come up with some really great ideas on how I can utilize these techniques in class and how it will greater benefit my students work flow and grammatical output.
