By reading and digesting the information in this lesson I learned of ways to deal with different problems that come up in the classroom in various scenarios. I learned how one may deal with a larger class, a problem towards which I an especially empathetic being schooled in a large class myself, and how to help shy students participate more actively.I believe that the first day in the classroom as a new teacher you would want to build rapport with your students instead of focusing on learning. It is important to make students feel comfortable and to set a positive tone in the classroom to encourage learning. We need to look at learning a new language from the students perspective and build trust.
