This unit explained the different types of tests and exams and what they are used for. The unit provided helpful insight into the usefulness of tests, even if many teachers do not prefer to use standardized testing to measure progress. I learned that tests can be useful through the duration of a term including at the beginning, middle and culmination.This unit was focused on grammar of the present tenses - present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I was already familiar with this topic but the unit helped me revise that knowledge, giving me practical examples, possible student errors and helpful samples of teaching ideas for an activate stage of a lesson.
