TEFL Review from Rodney

This TEFL review is from Rodney. He is originally from Jamaica but currently living and working in Japan. He recently completed our 120-hour TEFL/TESOL course online and had a great experience. He realized the importance of an internationally recognized TEFL/TESOL certification and decided to go for it. After completing the course, he received a range of new opportunities, especially in teaching English online. He cannot recommend this course enough to anyone who is interested in teaching English.

This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This was a unit packed full of detail and it made me realise that this aspect of speech and recorded speech could be very confusing if not taught slowly and very clearly. There is a lot of scope for many varied role play and interactive excercises in this unit. I found some of the changes in tenses from reported to direct speech quite difficult.This unit further reinforces many of the most effective theories and teaching methods in a classroom based environment. Although a teacher should have a clear objective and teaching plan before he starts each classes, the flow and activities must be flexible to suit the students' learning interests. I have gained more confidence in teaching now.
