This unit was helpful in setting a framework of the course. We learned about teaching styles and how each are important. As well, we learned about motivations for students and how our teaching styles can equip students. Additionally, we learned about the stages in learning a new language. This is vital to understand to assess where are students are.I had a hard time understanding countable and uncountable nouns. I also had a hard time understanding definite and indefinite articles. However, I moved through this unit slowly and think that I will understand that concepts and application eventually. It is important to note that so many verbs are irregular, I hope to emphasize this to my students.
