Just as Unit 4 is important because we need the meta-language to be able to explain the grammatical rule, so it applies for past tense too. I struggle to explain the nuances of more complex tense rules such as past continuous tense and past perfect tenses. With these knowledge, and more visual aid, I hope to be able to explain to my learners better.Assessment is more than just a grade. It helps the teacher know where she needs to go to help her students, even if it means taking a few steps back to build the skills needed to where they need to go in their learning. It also helps the students know where they need to improve, plus it prepares them for the external exams they will need to pass.
