This unit helped me refresh my knowledge on past tense forms and rules. Having studied german extensively, I know that past tense competency is immensely important in understanding a foreign language.The past tense is similar to the present tense, except the the past tense is obviously related to past. I learnt similarities in usage and form emerging. It is very important to understand and know your tenses when you teach English subject or when you speak it so that your learners will also understand what you are trying to so say or teach.
