The unit two focused on different parts of speech in the English language. These are important to know because they make up the rules that surround grammar. Knowing the proper sentence structure is a major key in teaching English to people. What a wonderful unit due to the refresher course I got on gerunds and the past and present participle.Just like the previous unit (unit 11), this Unit did throw more light to the function of the skills. For example, I now know the skills that are productive, which are speaking and writing. Also, I can now apply them to my teaching, maybe not all together at once but I know it is important for me as teacher to pass these skills to my students.
