Evaluation and Testing of Students - Placement Tests
This video is part of our video series on "Evaluation and Testing of Students". In this video, we look at placement tests. This type of test is also referred to as a level test. Its goal is to find out the current level of the student tested. A placement test generally tests all four skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking) and progresses from easy to hard questions.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
In this unit 4, I learned how well you managed the student's behaviors and what materials are you will give it to them into your daily activities. In the part of the lesson plan, I learned that lesson plan helps you to consider the level of detail we need in any such plan and tell us what should happen throughout the lesson in a series stage.i have learnt the principles of lesson planning, what i should and should not include in the plan and better ways to arrange it. i also studied how a lesson plan should be organaised and how to write it down.the unit also provided me with info on how to make the lesson enjoyable for both teachers and students while keeping it all planned out.
