English Grammar - Present Continuous - Usage
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit surveyed the different types of tests that may be used to evaluate a students English ability, progress in the course and what has been retained. It also gives an overview of the different types of external exams a student might encounter and a teacher might need to prepare them for. Some of these tests may not be useful for testing fluency. The unit just went over the past tenses. It gave descriptions of the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and the past perfect continuous. I feel I have a better grasp on the past tense. However, I was disappointed in this chapter I felt the descriptions could have been better and more examples given. Especially to differentiate between tenses.
