In this unit I learned that creating lesson plans for classes ahead of time helps the teacher visualize a goal for the lesson and even for the entire course and record the classes progress. While the teacher should always have a lesson plan handy to refer to during a class it is good to sometimes be flexible and adaptable to the students being taught.This unit provides different tests to evaluate the students. As teachers, we can determine our students through placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests and general external examinations. We can use these tests throughout the course in order to assess how well our students are learning as they prepare for summative evaluation.
