This unit covered the four English past tenses in their positive, negative, and question forms. Differences between these tenses can be subtle, so it is important for a teacher to be familiar with each tense, being able to both recognize and explain each usage. There are also many irregular form of the past participle that teachers should be aware of.this unit is very important in our daily activities as far as Grammar is concern. i have learned that the use of conditionals in our conversations and also speech helps to convey good messages to our audiences. this unit also helps in giving out report to a third party. most of the information giving out by news reporters are written in Report speech.
