From this unit i have learned modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice in details. As well as brief overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses. modal verbs are used before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb. Modals can be used to express a number of different ideas such as: obligation, possibility, permission, ability, and advice. This unit was on common problem situations. The activities of getting to know you and the warm ups were helpful. I had used some of them before but some were new. The different suggestions on how to teach different levels in the same class was also helpful. I would probably use a variety of them to see which one benefits the class the most.
