This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit was interesting as it explained how receptive skills are as equally important as each other. It showed how students need to constantly be able to feel brave enough to ask questions if there is a lack of understanding, especially when learning how to read and listen, in order to recognise the phonetics of word as well as the spelling. In this lesson I learnt about teaching special groups and the dynamics associated with this. I learnt that while, this might seem different from convential classroom teaching of primary school or high school pupils, the objective remains the same. The same techniques used with conventional language classes can be used even with special groups.
