The unit is about teaching receptive skills.The unit takes a close look at reading and listening skills,the unit examines the importance of these skills and then covers various techniques and activities associated with them.Before i used to choose the topics by myself now i think knowing students interest will help me prepare interesting topics.I learnt that lesson planning is very important as a teacher to improve my own teaching and it gives a better understanding of my own progress.Lesson planning gives an idea of what to expect from the students to achieve and how i can make that possible by having a record as it acts as a working document and a record of what lessons have i taught .
