It is a very helpful to have an overview of the different standardized external ESL examinations. This unit helped me to identify the different tests, who they are for, what they are for, and what level of English they are suitable for. I also now understand the difference between the four general test types that were discussed in the unit.I am an English writer so the unit was a piece of cake for me. I loved finishing this exercise. It's more of a game than something that I have to 'study'. Anyway, I love languages and grammar rules. It only helped fine-tune my grammar skills. For those who hate to learn grammar, they can just scan through the unit and can refine their basics.
