Unit 7 is about is about teaching language concepts. Specifically it talked about vocabulary & language structures. It focused on techniques for presenting and teaching. They use the same phases: engage, study and activate. I also gave information on how to effectively teach vocabulary, and language. And activities appropriate for each phase. This unit taught the differences between Receptive skills which are Reading and Listening and Productive skills which are Speaking and Writing. It talked about predictive, skinning, scanning. And it gave examples again about how to build a lesson from beginning to end. The sheets that are ready to be used in the class are always very helpful.
