I learned that reading and listening is very important to students but especially to students that are new to the English language. It is important to show those students real objects or pictures for them to understand the topic of the lesson. I should get to know all the students so that the topics of the lessons are interesting for all students.In this unit I learned about a number of grammatical concepts. First, I learned about the many types of modals in English. Second, I learned about the passive voice. Lastly, I learned the difference between transitive and intransitive phrasal verbs. I think knowing these concepts will help me become a more effective English language instructor.
