This unit gave me an introduction, as if I didn't know any previous knowledge, which will help me teach my students who might not have any prior knowledge and help me solidify my prior knowledge). I learned what a noun is, and all the different components it has, such as common nouns like \"teacher\" and proper nouns such as \"Mexico\". I also learned that a part of speech are words in a sentence (all sentences) that can be further described/classified based on the meaning/ purpose of the word. As well as pointing out which words are which, such as \"the\" being a definite article in comparison to \"a\" or \"an\" which are indefinite. I also learned a game that I could use in my classroom to help my students understand grammar such as the \"Adverb Game\" where students mime their actions.
