In this unit I learned 7 different Future Tenses. Each form has its own unique grammatical form to describe each specific way of how a futuristic situation could be expressed. With these several different future forms, it is is easy for students to get confused therefore there are several active teaching methods emphasized so that students can learn concretely the meaning and structure of each type of futer tense. Many of the active teaching methods are centered around diary writing within a specific scenario that would force the students to use a particular type of tense. Often times adverbial expressions are used to define a specific time frame of the future which aids in creating certain specific future forms such as the Future Perfect Tense and the Future Perfect Continuous tense.
