Past tenses, covered in this unit, are pretty self-explanatory. Like Present tenses, past tenses follows the same format just in the \"past\". However, because the majority of the \"rules\" for converting each of the tense states were covered in the Present Tenses section, this unit was far simpler and easier to understand. The emerging pattern is clarified, easier to comprehend and easy to apply to any grammatical situation. This will be really useful for understanding Present Tenses in the future lesson. I will say that having the usages helps to clarify even further when to use the past tense, as many of them deal with points of time: Completed actions in the past, gradual time development, viewing past actions from a past point of view, past actions that have continued into the present.
