Course materials are very useful for teacher. It is important to have a course material to help or support to teacher in teaching young children. There are two types of course materials, which is the authentic and non-authentic. Both could be use in teacher's lesson plan. Having a lesson plan is good to help the teacher to know what they are doing, anecdotal all the student's progress, and know if they have already covered a specific topic. Lesson plan is also good in case the teacher might need a substitute to come in for the day. This unit is very important as I've learned how to use the material wisely and not over use them. Material is good to support my teaching but I know that I should not rely on it too much, as I need to come out with my own creativity for teaching young children.
