The English language has twelve tenses.This unit explained the four present tenses:1) Present Simple, 2)Present Continuous, 3)Present Perfect and 4)Present Perfect Continuous. The Present simple tense is used to speak about routines, habits and truths. The Present Continuous tense is used to speak about actions that are progress at the very moment and around the time of speaking.The Present Perfect tense is used to speak of indefinite past actions , unfinished past actions and past actions with present results. Finally the Present Perfect continuous is used to speak about incomplete and continuing activities with duration and recently finished activities with present results. I have learned how to explain in a more simple way the use of the Present Perfect and the Present Perfect Continuous.
