Unit Two is a comprehensive overview with specific examples of basic English grammatical structures. While I am already familiar with some of these structures, many are difficult for me to remember and it has been a long time since I was exposed to this type of grammar. Grammar is fascinating in that there are rules for construction of language. However, it is of course infuriating that the rules are not absolute and that learning English by rote to a large extent is required. It is obvious why native speakers are useful for teachers. Unit Two specifically covers the most common parts of speech through the lens of grammar: nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, and prepositions and conjunctions. Again, the review of these parts of speech was very useful for me.
