This unit focuses around teaching new language to students. This unit focuses on how to expose students to the new language, help them understand it, and to show how it is constructed along with practicing and producing it. The first section of the unit describes how new vocabulary should be introduced and techniques for teaching said vocabulary. The unit then goes on to show how to introduce new grammatical structures to students. The unit then finishes with instructing how to teach new language functions to the class. Throughout the unit, there are instructions on how and when to introduce various strategies for students of all English language levels to accomplish the tasks at hand. The unit also shows the different types of ESA lessons that can be applied to each step of teaching new language.
