This unit was an introduction to phonology and pronunciation. This was probably the most difficult unit so far, as most of it was new to me. Honestly, I think I would teach pronunciation only in the areas that the students were having trouble with. For example with the \"th\" or \"ch\" I could describe how to make those sounds using one's teeth, tongue and vocal cords. But I see no reason to teach how to pronounce sounds that the students have no trouble with, especially those that are the same in their native language. I think to best way to learn intonation and stress is by having dialogues in class or by watching English language films. After a while, the students may pick up the intonation passively. I do see the purpose of the phonetic alphabet, where a student maybe unsure of how to say \"tough\
