This unit is very helpful because it lays out different techniques for teaching. How to engage your students and get the juices flowing in the start of class is very important. Make it exciting and fun and they will have more interest in learning. Corrections should not be made in mid-sentence and should not be done in the activation stage. Every teacher will adapt their own style of teaching but it is very important to know when to correct and how to correct constructively. When a teacher corrects too much it can be discouraging for the student and you may lose the students willingness to learn. There are many different ways for students to study while having fun. A teacher might use less games if the students are upper level or older. This unit was very helpful to study which methods work best for me.
