This lesson teaches you class management. It breaks down all the things that can aid you and how to have a productive classroom. It breaks down the pros and the cons of different types of classroom settings and how different activities will work depending on how the students are placed. I definitely agree with the partnering / group method because it is really nice to work with someone and kind of get a feel for things that you don't know you have a partner that can help you with things that you don't understand. A form of management that doesn't necessarily seem so effective is when the teacher is just standing there talking because not everybody is learning at the same pace. It's just harder to give your complete attention to the entire class if you're just standing there teaching and not engaging with gestures and eye contact and not making sure that the class is following to what you're doing. Seating arrangement I found to be very informative, if the seating is different and student our placed strategically you can definitely help the student when it comes to activities and learning. The most important thing is that the teachers sets the tone for the classroom and depending on how you teach and how you perform in front of the students at how you look and how you sound that is how the students perceive you to be and that will affect how they learn and what they learn and whether they received the information or rejected it.
