As will all aspects of teaching, the teacher?s attitude can affect the class tremendously. Therefore, when presented with ?problems? such as large classroom sizes, different English levels within the classroom, reluctant students, and student use of their native language; teachers must see this positively and as a challenge to make themselves and the class even better. Large classes are generally undesirable but the dynamic of having many students can be a positive. The level of creativity in large groups is truly awesome and can lead to some really fun lessons for the students and the teacher. Even the bothersome fact that some classes will have students with varying levels of English can be seen as an opportunity to grow as an educator. A good teacher knows how to use differentiation skills to adapt lessons to fit all students. This can be done by using different tasks of if using the same task, modifying the quantity or level of difficulty of the questions. Making sure the students have the language necessary to complete tasks, ensuring the language is at an appropriate level, and using lots of practice within pairs are all ways to reduce problems with use of native language, reluctant students, and difficulties with audio texts. This is because all of the aforementioned activities lead to a higher self-esteem in the students and the sense of confidence permits them to experiment more with language and progress quicker.
