This unit was somewhat difficult at first with all the phonemic symbols and how it all had to be translated for the testing as well. However, after reading through and understanding it all, I have realized how important this is and that it should all be taught to those who are wishing to learn the language of English.In unit 14 we covered course books and lesson materials. This lesson provided insight into the pros and cons of course books and how they apply to what is being taught. It showed us what to look out for and some things we can do to augment what we get in the books to adapt to the needs of the students we are teaching.
