This unit was all about discussing all of the different types of past tenses. I have learned that there are many different rules when it comes down to determining how to establish the past tense of a sentence. Also it was very helpful to know that there are negative, positive, and question forms of all the past tenses.This section detailed the importance of teaching receptive skills such as reading and listening. It discussed reasoning for receptive skills such as building predictive abilities, skimming and scanning. It also discussed methods that would make texts more accessible to students, such as pre-teaching complex vocabulary.
