This section describes the different methods by which lessons are structured and through which learning takes place. Based on different theories of how students best learn, each method gives students the opportunity to learn a new language through different means of memorization and experimentation. One of the most effective methods for new teachers is the ESA model, in which students Engage, Study, and Activate their learning. Different activities and games are used in order to promote a relaxed environment through which to acquire the language. Worksheets and group activities further enable greater accuracy and reduce the risk of ingrained errors over time.
