In this unit, I got the importance for students to practice the receptive skills - Reading and listening. For us, there are two wide-ranging categories of reasons and motives for reading and listening: For a purpose and for entertainment. And i gained that there are many kinds of skills we can use we when are reading and listening, such as predictive skills, scanning, skimming, etc. And we can do some pre-teaching vocabulary or selecting carefully of the texts to assist students to approach difficult language. And I had a quick review of the structure of patchwork ESA lesson by reading the outline of an example. I feel am being close to be a skillful teacher.
