This unit talked about how to teach new language such as vocabulary or grammatical structure. It also gave ideas on which techniques to use depending on what language is being taught. For instance, when teaching new vocabulary it is useful to use the straight arrow technique. The unit stressed that each technique is a suggestion but not a \"written in stone\" mandate. I found the examples useful. I like that each example started with the objective of the lesson and an example on how to achieve the objective. I also thought the written activity at the end was useful. I enjoyed coming up with my own lesson plan and the review of the techniques were very helpful.
