These two videos provide a great example of how the teacher's attitude and interaction with the students has a direct result on their interest and participation in the lesson. In the first video, the teacher was not prepared, spend too much time with his back to the students while writing on the board, did not know their names, seemed annoyed, and consistently told them that it was \"easy.\" In the second, he was more engaged, learned their names, seemed to be happy and more confirming of their efforts. When a teacher notices that the students are confused or not engaged, he should examine his techniques and strategies to see if there is room for improvement.
