Unit 19: Teaching Special Groups discussed the variety of groups a teacher could be teaching English too. There are five main groups - beginners, individuals, young learners, business English, and lastly, monolingual vs. multilingual. It discussed subcategories within each group, as well as the positives and negatives for teaching each group and it also introduced some do's and don'ts while teaching each group. This unit, as well as others, has made me question whether or not I want to teach Business English (which was originally the plan) or to teach young learners - as it seems easier to teach young learners because they can absorb the information quicker.
