I learnt from this unit that past tense can be challenging for a new English language learner perspective. The unit gives clear rules as to how to apply the past tense when speaking or writing. The unit also gives guidelines as to how teachers and learners can apply the basic for of verbs and the correct tense to ensure that the correct tense is used appropriately in English both in oral and written forms. I also learnt from this unit that tense in the English language can be complicated at times even for native speakers of English, so practice using the correct tense in the appropriate situation will reduce errors on how to use tense when and where in English.
