This unit covered the proper form and usage of modal auxiliary verbs, phrasal verbs, and passive voice, and relative clauses. Modals are used to add meaning to the main verb. There are many different uses depending on what auxiliary verb is being used. When passive voice is being used, the person performing the action is usually not mentioned in the sentence. Phrasal verbs were then described as \"multi-word verbs\" that operate as one item. Each concept was explained thoroughly and included very helpful examples. I learnt that English grammar can be complicated but if you take the time to go through it slowly and carefully then it will be much easier to teach.
