A few months ago, a private student of mine asked me some advice on formal verbs which she can use in her workplace. She is working as a masseuse and would want to be able to converse with her foreigner customers. As I was doing my research, a lot of explanation came up which made it difficult to group. But with this chapter?s chart presented in an organized way, teaching this topic to my students/future students will be beneficial. I also have gotten to understand these phrasal verbs. As a student back then, I just kind of gotten used to it through exposure from what I hear and read. However, if asked now by a student, I will be able to explain thoroughly.
