From the Course Books and Lesson Materials Unit I have learnt that the materials are divided into two types; authentic and created with many examples and activities for each type, information about the course books; its advantages and disadvantages and the best use of the course books plus four different options for course books use, and eventually how to analyze a course book considering factors like the book price, the availability of the book, the design, the methodology, the mix and balance of skills, the language level and difficulty of the book, the syllabus covered by the book, whether it contains variety of interesting topics, and the support materials

Writing and speaking represent are productive skills

From this unit, I gained more insight on the different roles of a teacher and how each role should be played

The listing of resources available to EFL teachers was of great interest to me
