There many teaching methodologies all of these have there own positive and negative points because they are based on 1-D idea and it make use of single technique at one time. These methodologies have there own importance but when we talk about more diverse technique and we want to make our teaching possible through every mean we prefer to use ESA (Engage,Study,Activate). Engage phase covers many aspects which are related to practical teaching through eliciting the knowledge from the students or by creating an environment to implement the new knowledge of language to the students. So engage phase performs a very important function in order to make the students better understand you during the study phase. In study phase we teach the new words and phrases so in study phase we need to provide them with proper pronunciation and make the study phase interesting. After the study phase we involve the students in activate phase to enable them to make the practical use of what they had learned in study phase. Activate phase can consist of games and activities and the responsibility of the teacher is to observe them when they are performing the task and note the points and mistakes. sometimes you need to correct them at the spot and sometimes its not appropriate to correct them during the task and wait for them to finish. ESA have straight arrow, patch work, boomerang types of patterns. It depends on the teacher which one he/she should use according to the desired lesson to teach.
