Grammar is a complex subject that takes much practice, and even some memorization, yet is vital to the understanding and correct formation of the English language. As a teacher, grammar is a subject to be integrated into lessons regularly to keep the concepts clear and consistent in the eyes of the students, it also should be evaluated often to keep learners on common grounds as the language learning progresses. Grammar, although difficult, is not a subject that can be skipped over, without these foundational skills,the English language loses much of its structure and clarity, it affects even the smallest components of the language, \"the simple sentences\". Grammar consists of parts of speech: nouns/subject, adjectives, verbs, and some modified, adverbs, prepositions/conjunctions, pronouns, gerunds, etc. In this lesson, I have learned the basic fundamentals of grammar and some key ideas about how to share this understanding with future English learners, but most importantly I was reminded of concepts forgotten, yet daily used, that I am eager to relearn so that I may effectively share such understanding with others.
