Unit 2 covered basic grammar and its usage: Nouns-common, proper, compound, abstract, collective, countable/uncountable, plurals Adjectives-order usage (e.g.,size, age, color material) and adjective comparisons/superlatives Verbs -transitive/intransitive,infinitive forms, simple past and past participle, reviewed irregular verbs and auxiliary verbs Adverbs-5 main types (manner, place, time, degree, frequency), which order to place multiple adverbs (e.g. place, manner, time) and game ideas to be used for Adverb reinforcement (ex: let students mime an adverb and guess the word, give a sentence and some adverbs letting students place correctly in a sentence, also giving an adverb to the students and allowing the student to write a sentence around the adverb) Gerunds- \"ing\" verb forms used as a noun Pronouns- reviewed personal, possessive,reflexive, relative examples and difference between possessive pronouns vs possessive adjectives Prepositions- 3 main types (e.g. time/date, movement, and place/position) Conjunctions -which join words of the same class or clauses in a sentence (ex: and, but, either...or, because, etc.)
