In this unit i have learnt: 1) There are different ways to assess a student's language level, such as tutorial,test and evaluation by the students. 2) Tutorials. It might be useful at the end of the week to spend some time,like 10-15 minutes at the end of the class by discussing how well students perform the tasks,reviewing the work done or whether there are any problems. 3)Evaluation by the students. The students can be asked if they feel they are getting enough grammar,if they think the tasks are right for their level or they might be to easy or to difficult. 4) Tests. There are different kind of tests that teacher can give to his/her students. A-placement test-helps to put the students of the students of the same level in to the right groups. B-diagnostic test- helps the teacher to find out what tge students already know at the beggining of tge course. C-progress test- helps teacher know what language items need more work and encourage studrnts to review and revise. D-achievement test-usually it is an internal test given at the end of the course. E-practice test- gets an idea how close students are to the required standart.
