Both receptive and productive skills are essintial in educative process. The unit describes and analyzes the receptive skills: reading and listening. In my opinion, reading is a bit easier than listening as the students can re-read difficult or incomprehensible parts identifying the letters and words. Listening requires of the students more focusing and attention. To reduce the problems faced by the students when reading or listening it is necessary to select a text carefully and teach the vocabulary needed. It is crucial to choose an interesting topic and create enthusiasm to get the students involved in the lesson and tasks.
