They often do not wish to answer a question as they are afraid of losing face. Europeans as less prone to losing face. Also, many Europeans do not appreciate different cultures, British people often expect other cultures to understand theirs, and make little effort to understand the culture of the host country. Therefor, this lesson is a valuable tool for appreciating other cultures. In having an appreciation it will help greatly in determining the difficulties that a student may be experiencing.
