In this unit, I learned about the main types of conditionals, which include the zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditionals. At first, it was difficult to distinguish between some of these, but eventually I began to see certain patterns emerge. The video was especially helpful in explaining the differences, especially when using the same situation (winning the lottery) as an example of each conditional. This unit also covered the topic of reported speech and how to correctly alter the grammer when translating from a direct quote. This unit also gave various teaching methods for how these topics can be taught to students.
